An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Hampel in the 4th minute of play forced RB Hallstadt's goalkeeper Philipp Däumichen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philipp Däumichen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Hampel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. RB Hallstadt's Philipp Däumichen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Hampel in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Mario Lemmerz made a precise shot to the right of Philipp Däumichen. RB Hallstadt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, RB Hallstadt's Wim Uhl got a free kick in the 13th minute. Philipp Däumichen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Lemmerz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Fabien Mach saved Germain 1973 from getting behind. RB Hallstadt's Yannick Kortmann got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, RB Hallstadt's goalkeeper Philipp Däumichen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Hampel. A collision led to RB Hallstadt getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Siegfried Rieger hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, RB Hallstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Uhl to maneuver through the defense. Philipp Däumichen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Lemmerz in the 89th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, RB Hallstadt's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Hampel came free, but Philipp Däumichen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RB Hallstadt's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
