Sterzenbach's Pjotr List proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sterzenbach from getting a goal against them. Christoph Möst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pjotr List having to make a save. Christoph Möst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Pjotr List made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Harro Graichen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ennio Hofner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Justin Myszka came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Barneckermoor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justin Myszka couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute of the match Wenzel Berlepp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ennio Hofner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Richard Kurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio Hofner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harro Graichen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Harro Graichen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ennio Hofner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingo Schubert took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ennio Hofner. Ennio Hofner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Myszka was the one to do the kick off. Richard Kurtz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Ennio Hofner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Harro Graichen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sterzenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harro Graichen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Justin Myszka made a precise shot to the right of Pjotr List. Sterzenbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harold Harnack during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Barneckermoor FC got a freekick which was hit by Harold Harnack. If Christoph Möst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. A collision led to Barneckermoor FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Berthold Eschenbach hit a great ball. Sterzenbach's Julius Dominicus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barneckermoor FC. 85 minutes into the game, Justin Myszka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barneckermoor FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sterzenbach the free kick. In the 85th minute, Justin Myszka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Barneckermoor FC booed when Sterzenbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Ehnert didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Myszka in the 89th minute of play forced Sterzenbach's goalkeeper Pjotr List to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoph Möst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Barneckermoor FC's Justin Myszka in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sterzenbach's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sterzenbach walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
