In the 13th match minute, SG Massen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakov Fleiner to maneuver through the defense. Alwin Gooß charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alwin Gooß the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Julius Lamowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ashley Burgbacher was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius Lamowski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes SG Massen got a freekick which was hit by Balthasar Korsus. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Lamowski in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ashley Burgbacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julius Lamowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Burgbacher having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Rudolf Vieth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ashley Burgbacher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Vielank getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Arnulf Winter hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Vielank got a freekick which was hit by Thoralf Berens. In the 64th minute, Alwin Gooß got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julius Lamowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Burgbacher having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Jakov Fleiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SG Massen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Julius Lamowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Burgbacher having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, SG Massen's Jakov Fleiner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernd Dambowsky made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 94th minute, SG Massen's Balthasar Korsus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernd Dambowsky. Bernd Dambowsky yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Despite being the better team, Vielank failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
