Karel Borgmeier struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Florian Klump didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timeless. Jo Huermann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Bittner in the 32nd minute. Frank Kunze charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The corner led Timeless's Alessandro Knobloch to fire away a dangerous shot which Florian Klump despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Timeless's Gero Jakobs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florian Klump made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gero Jakobs during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Timeless was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gero Jakobs to maneuver through the defense. Luis Mortler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Huermann having to interfere. The Lautert FSV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Timeless were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Mortler to strike the kick off in the second half. Karel Borgmeier might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian Klump. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karel Borgmeier ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Lautert FSV's Paul Bittner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jo Huermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lautert FSV's Magnus Ustorf got a free kick in the 65th minute. Timeless's Karel Borgmeier got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gero Jakobs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Klump having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Gero Jakobs made a precise shot to the right of Florian Klump. Lautert FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Jo Huermann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Bittner went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Luis Mortler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Bittner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Lautert FSV's goalkeeper Florian Klump had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gero Jakobs. The Lautert FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Timeless were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
