Heuerßen FSV's Thomas Stanke got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, FK Sarajevo's goal looked a bit too open when Leonhard Raus came free, but Klemens Krummacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Stanke might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klemens Krummacher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Stanke ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomas Stanke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FK Sarajevo's Marco Hülsmeyer got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Klemens Krummacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonhard Raus in the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Marco Hülsmeyer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Sarajevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heuerßen FSV the free kick. After 23 played minutes FK Sarajevo got a freekick which was hit by Marco Hülsmeyer. Leonhard Raus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemens Krummacher having to interfere. In the 28th minute Thomas Stanke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemens Krummacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heuerßen FSV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcello Liski in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Heuerßen FSV's corner Marcello Liski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Klemens Krummacher quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to FK Sarajevo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Uwe Webber hit a great ball. Thomas Stanke struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Klemens Krummacher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heuerßen FSV. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonhard Raus in the 32nd minute of play forced FK Sarajevo's goalkeeper Klemens Krummacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Stanke in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klemens Krummacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute Thomas Stanke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemens Krummacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klemens Krummacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Stanke in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of FK Sarajevo booed when Heuerßen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Raus didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Klemens Krummacher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonhard Raus in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, FK Sarajevo's goalkeeper Klemens Krummacher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonhard Raus. Marcello Liski, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 65th match minute, FK Sarajevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Senkel to maneuver through the defense. Klemens Krummacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Stanke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonhard Raus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klemens Krummacher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 played minutes Heuerßen FSV got a freekick which was hit by Angel Grun. After some careless play in the Heuerßen FSV defense, Alexander Stetter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willibald Kammer. The Heuerßen FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willibald Kammer should have stopped the shot. In the 81st match minute, FK Sarajevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Buchmüller to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Alexander Stetter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willibald Kammer. Heuerßen FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Stetter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Heuerßen FSV's Leonhard Raus got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonhard Raus might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klemens Krummacher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonhard Raus ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonhard Raus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
