Spectators: 7446 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Lautert FSV's Luis Mortler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in FK Sarajevo's zone, Luis Mortler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klemens Krummacher came out of the goal and Luis Mortler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Mortler in the 8th minute of play forced FK Sarajevo's goalkeeper Klemens Krummacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FK Sarajevo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marco Hülsmeyer hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes, Lautert FSV's Dick Grischtschenko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Klemens Krummacher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lautert FSV reached it. Klemens Krummacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Bittner in the 15th minute of play. Klemens Krummacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Mortler, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Matti Steinki struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Florian Klump didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Sarajevo. After 21 played minutes FK Sarajevo got a freekick which was hit by Martin Buchmüller. Dick Grischtschenko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Klemens Krummacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Heringer in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Marco Hülsmeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautert FSV's Dick Grischtschenko couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FK Sarajevo. When Wulf Füßmann fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Sarajevo's protests and gave Wulf Füßmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes FK Sarajevo got a freekick which was hit by Wulf Füßmann. After 30 minutes of play, Lautert FSV's Luis Mortler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klemens Krummacher was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lautert FSV's goalkeeper Florian Klump, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Alexander Stetter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautert FSV's Florian Klump proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lautert FSV from getting a goal against them. Matti Steinki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Lautert FSV got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Ustorf.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matti Steinki to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lautert FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Matti Steinki came free, but Florian Klump reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Mortler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Klemens Krummacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Bittner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 60 minutes, Luis Mortler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lautert FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Mortler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alexander Stetter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Matti Steinki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Sarajevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matti Steinki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FK Sarajevo booed when Lautert FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Grischtschenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Senkel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florian Klump. Lautert FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute Uwe Webber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Klump saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Mortler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Bittner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemens Krummacher having to interfere.
