Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaspar van Essen started the match with the kick off. Kaspar van Essen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Henning Rennicke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaspar van Essen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villingen-Schweninngen SV were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after MKS Kluczbork's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niccolo Hauffen took the corner. The corner ended in Niccolo Hauffen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MKS Kluczbork's Walter Moschner did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lutger Weibler in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Moschner saved MKS Kluczbork from getting behind. 17 minutes into the game, Boris Surkemper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villingen-Schweninngen SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Kluczbork the free kick. After a rather tough play, Villingen-Schweninngen SV's Boris Surkemper got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jacob Körner, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Villingen-Schweninngen SV's Henning Rennicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaspar van Essen in the 21st minute of play. If Lutger Weibler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, MKS Kluczbork's Kuno Lott got a free kick in the 29th minute. Erk Grytz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erk Grytz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Villingen-Schweninngen SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lutger Weibler to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Lutger Weibler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villingen-Schweninngen SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lutger Weibler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walter Moschner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutger Weibler in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lutger Weibler made a kick off. In the 51st minute Lutger Weibler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Moschner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erk Grytz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, MKS Kluczbork's goal looked a bit too open when Lutger Weibler came free, but Walter Moschner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lutger Weibler fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villingen-Schweninngen SV's protests and gave Lutger Weibler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Lutger Weibler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villingen-Schweninngen SV's Henning Rennicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaspar van Essen in the 67th minute of play. Erk Grytz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lutger Weibler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Moschner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutger Weibler in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Kaspar van Essen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, one of MKS Kluczbork:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MKS Kluczbork. MKS Kluczbork:s Walter Moschner showed great skill when he stopped Niccolo Hauffen:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutger Weibler in the 84th minute of play forced MKS Kluczbork's goalkeeper Walter Moschner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunter Schöner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Rennicke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Kuno Lott's late challenge caught a Villingen-Schweninngen SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuno Lott helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes MKS Kluczbork got a freekick which was hit by Kuno Lott. Walter Moschner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lutger Weibler, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Villingen-Schweninngen SV fully deserved thier win.
