Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Stanke started the match with the kick off. Balthasar Korsus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonhard Raus got free with Ashley Burgbacher in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ashley Burgbacher didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. SG Massen's Ashley Burgbacher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SG Massen from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Jakov Fleiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SG Massen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jakov Fleiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willibald Kammer having to interfere. Willibald Kammer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakov Fleiner in the 28th minute of the match. Balthasar Korsus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jakov Fleiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Balthasar Korsus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG Massen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balthasar Korsus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Heuerßen FSV booed when SG Massen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Hareter didn't get a good kick on the ball. SG Massen's Ashley Burgbacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Stanke in the 42nd minute of play. SG Massen's Jakov Fleiner got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willibald Kammer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakov Fleiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Stanke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ashley Burgbacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Balthasar Korsus made a kick off. Ashley Burgbacher came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Heuerßen FSV's Thomas Stanke. But to his dismay, Thomas Stanke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Thomas Stanke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ashley Burgbacher was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Leonhard Raus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Burgbacher having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Thomas Stanke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heuerßen FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Eicke Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eicke Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Eicke Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Mauritz Jan Schmiederkal fired a really elegant long shot, but Willibald Kammer threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balthasar Korsus in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willibald Kammer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Heuerßen FSV's Willibald Kammer got control of the ball when Jakov Fleiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ashley Burgbacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonhard Raus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Heuerßen FSV booed when SG Massen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk von Platen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcello Liski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Willibald Kammer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balthasar Korsus in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balthasar Korsus in the 90th minute of play forced Heuerßen FSV's goalkeeper Willibald Kammer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Balthasar Korsus came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SG Massen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balthasar Korsus couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SG Massen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Heuerßen FSV.
