The supporters of TuS Westfalen Lippe booed when Cybertracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorsten Högg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Still was a little too slow when Merten Brunkhorst got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Cybertracht's Hanjo Dubrau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Still made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Hanjo Dubrau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Still took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merten Brunkhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, TuS Westfalen Lippe's goalkeeper Emil Still had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hanjo Dubrau. Peter-Michael Zeller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Künast having to make a save. Theophil Schnuphase hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Hanjo Dubrau struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Emil Still didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cybertracht. Jesko Richter was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter-Michael Zeller was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes TuS Westfalen Lippe got a freekick which was hit by Freddi Goebel. Hermann Scheiff took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Still. TuS Westfalen Lippe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cybertracht's Hanjo Dubrau got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter-Michael Zeller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Markus Künast tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Still didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hanjo Dubrau went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Merten Brunkhorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hanjo Dubrau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to TuS Westfalen Lippe getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Felix Julius hit a great ball. Peter-Michael Zeller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
