After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens Pfaffenberger to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Friedbert Banzmeier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes in the game, Friedhold Kleinehellefort fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wojtek Pabst having to interfere. When Karel Burgmann fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored kartofen FC's protests and gave Karel Burgmann a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Schwöb booed when kartofen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leik Sutter ran back to his position shaking his head. Joscha Sauter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joscha Sauter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Pfaffenberger in the 93rd minute of play forced Schwöb's goalkeeper Friedbert Banzmeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leik Sutter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Friedbert Banzmeier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Schwöb supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Schwöb would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
