Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) TuS Erkersreuth's Nicolas Hofmeister started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Hirzenach FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gisbert Beck hit a great ball. In the 4thth minute of the game Hartmut Rebell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hirzenach FC's Dietmar Kunter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Hofmeister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dietmar Kunter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Billy Gerland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Raimar Lenke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Hartmut Rebell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dietmar Kunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Billy Gerland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dietmar Kunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartmut Rebell, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Hofmeister in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dietmar Kunter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Anatol Ahlen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Simon Vielhaber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hirzenach FC and the TuS Erkersreuth players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Hirzenach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Vielhaber to maneuver through the defense. Dietmar Kunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartmut Rebell in the 37th minute of the match. Billy Gerlands short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Raimar Lenke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dietmar Kunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartmut Rebell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Hofmeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dietmar Kunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dietmar Kunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Hofmeister in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mischa Hampen was the one to do the kick off. Dietmar Kunter was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Nicolas Hofmeister capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolas Hofmeister really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Raimar Lenke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Gerland in the 65th minute of the match. When Hartmut Rebell fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TuS Erkersreuth's protests and gave Hartmut Rebell a yellow card for diving instead. Mischa Hampen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hirzenach FC's Dietmar Kunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hofmeister in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Mischa Hampen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hirzenach FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mischa Hampen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimar Lenke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimar Lenke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mischa Hampen in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Hirzenach FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hartmut Rebell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hirzenach FC's Dietmar Kunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hofmeister in the 87th minute of play. Nicolas Hofmeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dietmar Kunter having to interfere. Dietmar Kunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Hofmeister in the 92nd minute of play. TuS Erkersreuth's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
