Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rüdiger Kanters got the match started through his kick off. Rüdiger Kanters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hartwig Kauth having to interfere. Jürgen Malzkorn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rüdiger Kanters sped through HSV HAMBURG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hartwig Kauth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Boshold in the 16th minute of play forced HSV HAMBURG's goalkeeper Hartwig Kauth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, HSV HAMBURG's Ahmed Letsche got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ohlenfeld's Jürgen Malzkorn got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siegfried Linhart charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siegfried Linhart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to HSV HAMBURG getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Siegfried Linhart hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Wenzel Topka sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and HSV HAMBURG's Hartwig Kauth didn't even have to move. Stephan Wöhrle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Henrik Bohle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ohlenfeld's Jürgen Malzkorn got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rüdiger Kanters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ohlenfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüdiger Kanters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hartwig Kauth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Rüdiger Kanters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hartwig Kauth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rüdiger Kanters took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hartwig Kauth. Hartwig Kauth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in HSV HAMBURG's zone, Rüdiger Kanters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hartwig Kauth came out of the goal and Rüdiger Kanters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 62 in the game by Jürgen Malzkorn from a close distance when the talented Hartwig Kauth managed to make a qualified save. HSV HAMBURG's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Ohlenfeld's Ty Daus got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes of play, HSV HAMBURG's Stephan Wöhrle made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrik Bohle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jürgen Malzkorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hartwig Kauth having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, HSV HAMBURG's goal looked a bit too open when Rüdiger Kanters came free, but Hartwig Kauth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rüdiger Kanters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, HSV HAMBURG's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jürgen Malzkorn fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hartwig Kauth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüdiger Kanters in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rüdiger Kanters in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hartwig Kauth saved HSV HAMBURG from getting behind. If Jürgen Malzkorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ohlenfeld's Rüdiger Kanters was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 98th minute Siegfried Linhart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Bohle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ohlenfeld could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than HSV HAMBURG throughout the match.
