After 11 played minutes Holtland got a freekick which was hit by Wolf Arendt. Ferdi Irmler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Hitzing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Pötters in the 19th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Leusel's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Irmler came free, but Eckhard Gedlich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hans-Jürgen Dettinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holtland's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Jürgen Dettinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eckhard Gedlich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Hitzing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Pötters, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Arne Pötters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Hitzing was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Joel Schubert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Hitzing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Joel Schubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Joel Schubert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Hitzing. Holtland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Schubert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Pötters was the one to do the kick off. Arne Pötters scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Hitzing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Hitzing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Schubert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans-Jürgen Dettinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eckhard Gedlich having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Holtland's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Schubert came free, but Benjamin Hitzing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Schubert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84thth minute of the game Joel Schubert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holtland's Benjamin Hitzing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joel Schubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Holtland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatus Ammer to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes of play, Leusel's Arne Pötters made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Hitzing was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Holtland's Ekpenyong Paula got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Leusel booed when Holtland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mosche Geisberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stephan Kerrutt, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Holtland's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Pötters came free, but Benjamin Hitzing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leusel were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Holtland for a fine match.
