Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dan Fricke made the kick off which started today's match. Gerenort's Josef Appeltrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clark Milbradt in the 4th minute of play. When Magnus Kuhr came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Gerenort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Kuhr couldn't finish the play. If Dan Fricke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Kuhr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Gerenort's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Bartel came free, but Josef Appeltrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Kai Geldreich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clark Milbradt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Magnus Kuhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 29 in the game by Magnus Kuhr from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Korcan Kultigin managed to make a qualified save. C.A Talleres de Córdoba's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Talleres de Córdoba's zone, Magnus Kuhr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerenort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Fricke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josef Appeltrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clark Milbradt, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Dan Fricke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ahmet Korcan Kultigin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Magnus Kuhr came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Gerenort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Kuhr couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Bartel was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, C.A Talleres de Córdoba's Clark Milbradt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After 60 minutes of play, Gerenort's Magnus Kuhr made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Korcan Kultigin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Gerenort's Sigurd Siberichs got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes Gerenort got a freekick which was hit by Eckart Gurok. Josef Appeltrath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Bartel in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Clark Milbradt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Josef Appeltrath. That made the score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. In the 74th minute Dan Fricke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Korcan Kultigin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.A Talleres de Córdoba getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Kai Geldreich hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Magnus Kuhr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 84 played minutes C.A Talleres de Córdoba got a freekick which was hit by Kai Geldreich. Dan Fricke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clark Milbradt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josef Appeltrath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Josef Appeltrath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Bartel in the 94th minute. The C.A Talleres de Córdoba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
