Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulfert Noffz took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Torsten Schwehr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Linhorst scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvatore Kirchberger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bleiderdingen's Salvatore Kirchberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Müller in the 20th minute of play. Salvatore Kirchberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Müller in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Bleiderdingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Schwehr to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Ulfert Noffz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gestewitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bleiderdingen the free kick. After 30 played minutes Gestewitz got a freekick which was hit by Ulfert Noffz. A collision led to Bleiderdingen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Albrecht Götze hit a great ball. If Torsten Schwehr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amir Müller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Salvatore Kirchberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tjark Plappert in the 43rd minute of play forced Bleiderdingen's goalkeeper Salvatore Kirchberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvatore Kirchberger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Linhorst went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Torsten Schwehr made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tjark Plappert got free with Salvatore Kirchberger in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute of the match, Amir Müller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Salvatore Kirchberger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 67 minutes, Tjark Plappert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gestewitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tjark Plappert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Amir Müller could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Salvatore Kirchberger however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Bleiderdingen booed when Gestewitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Linhorst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsten Schwehr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Heinrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Schwehr went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Torsten Schwehr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Bleiderdingen booed when Gestewitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Linhorst didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Amir Müller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gestewitz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 87 played minutes Bleiderdingen got a freekick which was hit by Achaz Lettrari. Amir Müller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salvatore Kirchberger firmly grabbed it by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Tjark Plappert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvatore Kirchberger. Bleiderdingen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tjark Plappert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Bleiderdingen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Ulfert Noffz scored to the left of an out of position Salvatore Kirchberger, making the score, 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gestewitz eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
