The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Bockenbaum's Karl Martin Pilz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Shingo Karis. Shingo Karis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Meul in the 9th minute of play forced Bockenbaum's goalkeeper Yussuf Marchl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yussuf Marchl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes-Paul Eller, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Marius Meul came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Wohlerst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Meul couldn't finish the play. When Erich Thau fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wohlerst's protests and gave Erich Thau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Erich Thau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bockenbaum's Karl Martin Pilz managed to work through Wohlerst's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Karl Martin Pilz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Shingo Karis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Martin Pilz in the 29th minute of the match. Eilert Sehrt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shingo Karis having to interfere. Marius Meul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shingo Karis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eilert Sehrt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Groß fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yussuf Marchl having to interfere. Shingo Karis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eilert Sehrt in the 75th minute of the match. Eilert Sehrt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 80 minutes, Zoran Beer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bockenbaum and the Wohlerst players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bockenbaum fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wohlerst had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
