Spectators: 6743 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 20) Gestewitz's Ulfert Noffz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Butteldorf's Ralph Josten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Heinrich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute Tjark Plappert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lothar Miller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Fabisch was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Butteldorf's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ralph Josten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Heinrich having to interfere. Amir Müller took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lothar Miller. Lothar Miller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lothar Miller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Müller in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Butteldorf's goal looked a bit too open when Ulfert Noffz came free, but Lothar Miller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gestewitz booed when Butteldorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Kaiser didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Amir Müller made a precise shot to the right of Lothar Miller. Butteldorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Ralph Josten came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Butteldorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Josten couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Ulfert Noffz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lothar Miller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Butteldorf got a corner. Gestewitz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filippo Junker ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Ralph Josten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Butteldorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralph Josten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Beppo Wirths hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Heinrich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Junker in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ralph Josten to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Amir Müller notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Butteldorf's Lothar Miller. Lothar Miller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lothar Miller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulfert Noffz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Butteldorf's Filippo Junker got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Gestewitz's Ulfert Noffz in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Butteldorf's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Butteldorf's goalkeeper Lothar Miller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amir Müller. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralph Josten in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Heinrich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Gestewitz's Ulfert Noffz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lothar Miller. That made the score 1-4 after 81 minutes of play. With his leg Lothar Miller managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Gestewitz's Amir Müller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Linhorst in the 86th minute of play forced Butteldorf's goalkeeper Lothar Miller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Josten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Ulfert Noffz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gestewitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulfert Noffz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gestewitz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
