Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dan Fricke took the kick off in the first half of the match. Shingo Karis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Fricke, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Josef Appeltrath didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank-Dieter Appelt went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Wohlerst's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Kuhr came free, but Shingo Karis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Wohlerst's Marius Meul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josef Appeltrath narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magnus Kuhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank-Dieter Appelt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Josef Appeltrath when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Frank-Dieter Appelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Wohlerst's Marius Meul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josef Appeltrath narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank-Dieter Appelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Fricke spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Wohlerst's goal. Shingo Karis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Kuhr in the 33rd minute of the match. Magnus Kuhr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shingo Karis having to interfere. Magnus Kuhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Shingo Karis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Appeltrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Meul, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Marius Meul made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Wohlerst getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Benjamin Reifenstein hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Dan Fricke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shingo Karis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Viktor Rebmann fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wohlerst's protests and gave Viktor Rebmann a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dan Fricke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerenort's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Fricke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shingo Karis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Frank-Dieter Appelt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wohlerst fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Shingo Karis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magnus Kuhr in the 76th minute. Dirk Wächter hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Josef Appeltrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Meul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marius Meul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Marius Meul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gerenort's Josef Appeltrath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, one of Gerenort:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gerenort's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
