Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sören Chaker took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 7 in the game by Hermann Grunert from a close distance when the talented Lajos Splett managed to make a qualified save. Sarreit FC's players were relieved. Rainer Campe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermann Grunerts short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Lajos Splett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the game, Sören Chaker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulo Punke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gil Kick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Detzem's Paulo Punke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Chaker in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Sarreit FC's Immanuel Arndt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Punke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Reich in the 31st minute of play forced Sarreit FC's goalkeeper Lajos Splett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainer Campe struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Lajos Splett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Detzem. Ulrik Reich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sarreit FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ralf Rammbock hit a great ball. Rainer Campe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermann Grunert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lajos Splett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Grunert, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Paulo Punke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Landgraf, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Immanuel Arndt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Punke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Paulo Punke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abdel Rechner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sören Chaker came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Sarreit FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Chaker couldn't finish the play. After 75th play minutes Hermann Grunert shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Lajos Splett and just under the crossbar into goal. Detzem's Hermann Grunert got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Detzem's Paulo Punke got control of the ball when Stefan Landgraf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lajos Splett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermann Grunert in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Detzem got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Campe. Paulo Punke was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Sören Chaker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sören Chaker really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Detzem lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
