If Stephan Baitschora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eros Hach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lajos Splett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sarreit FC's Hennes Trenke got a free kick in the 8th minute. Lajos Splett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eros Hach in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Stefan Landgraf fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Casimir Fassbender's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Gansel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Tsv Ottersberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifatius Döbele to maneuver through the defense. Eros Hach struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lajos Splett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tsv Ottersberg. If Casimir Fassbender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarreit FC's Sören Chaker got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Tsv Ottersberg's Stephan Baitschora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lajos Splett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Tsv Ottersberg's Paul Gansel got control of the ball when Stefan Landgraf tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Tsv Ottersberg's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Chaker came free, but Paul Gansel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stefan Landgraf sped through Tsv Ottersberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paul Gansel. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stephan Baitschora to strike the kick off in the second half. Bastian Wiese tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Lajos Splett a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Eros Hach might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lajos Splett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eros Hach ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Sarreit FC's Casimir Fassbender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Gansel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bonifatius Döbele fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tsv Ottersberg's protests and gave Bonifatius Döbele a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tsv Ottersberg's Bonifatius Döbele got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Casimir Fassbender cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Paul Gansel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dierk Strobl hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Paul Gansel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Landgraf in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Darko Höfner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tsv Ottersberg getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Darko Höfner hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Casimir Fassbender managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarreit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimir Fassbender was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Gansel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Tsv Ottersberg's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Landgraf came free, but Paul Gansel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarreit FC's Sören Chaker got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Casimir Fassbender mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarreit FC and the Tsv Ottersberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Sarreit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimir Fassbender to maneuver through the defense. Eros Hach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lajos Splett having to make a save. In the 97th minute, Sören Chaker made a precise shot to the right of Paul Gansel. Tsv Ottersberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sarreit FC had played much better football throughout.
