If Jaap Doll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Markus Färfers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Aver's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Färfers came free, but Peter Breda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Breda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaap Doll in the 15th minute of the match. Peter Breda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Kehr went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Peter Breda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Kehr in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfons Hertäg during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peter Breda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaap Doll in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Hölzerne Klinke's Jaap Doll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Breda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 37 minutes, Chris Kehr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hölzerne Klinke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Kehr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Emre Niederkirchner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aver's Peter Breda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Breda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Färfers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Chris Kehr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hölzerne Klinke's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Kehr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Breda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Breda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Färfers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Chris Kehr came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Hölzerne Klinke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Kehr couldn't finish the play.

Ludwig Müller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Peter Breda made a huge save. Peter Breda made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Markus Färfers sent off a good shot on target. Aver's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Chris Kehr scored to the left of an out of position Peter Breda, making the score, 0-3. In the 60th minute Jaap Doll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Breda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Aver got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Flug. During the 62nd minute of the match Alfons Hertäg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfons Hertäg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Aver booed when Hölzerne Klinke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Hertäg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Markus Färfers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hölzerne Klinke's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Färfers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Breda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rainer Flug's late challenge caught a Hölzerne Klinke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rainer Flug helped the player get up and apologised. Rainer Flug hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Hölzerne Klinke's Chris Kehr got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hölzerne Klinke's Amatus Ibrügger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hansjörg Wörner in the 74th minute of play. Markus Färfers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Breda having to interfere. If Markus Färfers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emre Niederkirchner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Breda having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Chris Kehr made a precise shot to the right of Peter Breda. Aver's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Peter Breda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Eckart, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Emre Niederkirchner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Peter Breda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Aver's goalkeeper Peter Breda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amatus Ibrügger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Flug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedikt Hübener in the 97th minute of play forced Hölzerne Klinke's goalkeeper Amatus Ibrügger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hölzerne Klinke's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
