Sarreit FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sören Chaker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefan Landgraf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christopher Saur having to make a save. Stefan Landgraf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Saur having to interfere. If Sören Chaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gerbisdorf FSV's zone, Stefan Landgraf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Saur came out of the goal and Stefan Landgraf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Stefan Landgraf came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sarreit FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Landgraf couldn't finish the play. Sören Chaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gerbisdorf FSV's zone, Casimir Fassbender stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Saur came out of the goal and Casimir Fassbender tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Sarreit FC's Bastian Rühmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Saur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute Dierk Strobl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Saur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimir Fassbender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Christopher Saur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastian Rühmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Saur having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Stefan Landgraf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Christopher Saur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sören Chaker struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Christopher Saur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarreit FC. The supporters of Sarreit FC booed when Gerbisdorf FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklos Bruchhaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerbisdorf FSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Sören Chaker scored to the left of an out of position Christopher Saur, making the score, 0-5. Sören Chaker kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Sarreit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakobus Lintorf to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Saur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casimir Fassbender showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 87 minute of play. Sarreit FC's Stefan Landgraf got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gerbisdorf FSV's zone, Casimir Fassbender stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Saur came out of the goal and Casimir Fassbender tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Gerbisdorf FSV's Christopher Saur got control of the ball when Stefan Landgraf tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Niccolo Weitenhagen fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerbisdorf FSV's protests and gave Niccolo Weitenhagen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th match minute, Gerbisdorf FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niccolo Weitenhagen to maneuver through the defense.
