Stuart Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Eros Hach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tsv Ottersberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Eros Hach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stuart Balint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Stephan Baitschora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonia Gaschowitz's Stuart Balint was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Stephan Baitschora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Polonia Gaschowitz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Tsv Ottersberg. Kasimir Schwunk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stuart Balint. 0-1. After 44 played minutes Polonia Gaschowitz got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Borak. Eros Hach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joachim Delzepich made a kick off. Detlev Schuler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, one of Tsv Ottersberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tsv Ottersberg. Polonia Gaschowitz's Detlev Schuler got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Gansel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Delzepich in the 61st minute of the match. Joachim Delzepich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Paul Gansel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polonia Gaschowitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Delzepich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute of the match Kasimir Schwunk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stuart Balint showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Eros Hach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stuart Balint came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Tsv Ottersberg's Darko Höfner. But to his dismay, Darko Höfner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Deisler during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Matthias Deisler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephan Baitschora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tsv Ottersberg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tsv Ottersberg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
