Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Konstantin Schrader started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, FC Bremerhaven's Gustav Eller got control of the ball when Erland Edewecht tried to sneak it across the goal line. Idelberg's Gil Haemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Schrader in the 7th minute of play. Gustav Eller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Funk in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, FC Bremerhaven's goalkeeper Gustav Eller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hannes Beiche. Idelberg's Gil Haemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Menzner in the 17th minute of play. Hannes Beiche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gustav Eller made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, FC Bremerhaven's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Teufel came free, but Gustav Eller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hardy Ratzel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gustav Eller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Teufel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Idelberg. Tommy Eitenmüller stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gustav Eller. 2-0. In the 30th minute Marc Szolkowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Eller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Idelberg's Hannes Beiche ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustav Eller. Gustav Eller yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Conny Menzner kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A hard shot by Tommy Eitenmüller from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Gustav Eller's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gil Haemer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerd Rust in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Idelberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eppo Reents to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
Gustav Eller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Beiche in the 54th minute of the match. After 54 played minutes FC Bremerhaven got a freekick which was hit by Conny Menzner. Hannes Beiche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Bremerhaven's Gustav Eller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Beiche in the 59th minute of play. Gustav Eller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Szolkowy, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Konstantin Schrader who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Idelberg's Gil Haemer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marc Szolkowy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gustav Eller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Idelberg booed when FC Bremerhaven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Menzner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustav Eller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Szolkowy in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Idelberg's zone, Gerd Rust stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Haemer came out of the goal and Gerd Rust tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Szolkowy scored 4-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustav Eller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erland Edewecht got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hannes Beiche. Axel Funk scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustav Eller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustav Eller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marc Szolkowy's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Gustav Eller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Beiche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, FC Bremerhaven's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Funk came free, but Gustav Eller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Bremerhaven's Gustav Eller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Beiche in the 88th minute of play. Axel Funk took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustav Eller. Gustav Eller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 95 played minutes, FC Bremerhaven's Tankred Hopmeier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Haemer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Bremerhaven reached it. Idelberg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
