Olav Maeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Michalak having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nicholas Daus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merdingen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicholas Daus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Michalak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olav Maeth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Werner Walser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Povel in the 20th minute of the match. Dennis Michalak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Daus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Meissner kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Nicholas Daus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olav Maeth in the 30th minute of play forced Fürth in Wald FC's goalkeeper Dennis Michalak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hippolyt Türke hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Olav Maeth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Michalak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olav Maeth in the 36th minute of play forced Fürth in Wald FC's goalkeeper Dennis Michalak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fürth in Wald FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Merdingen FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Povel to make the kick off. When Nicholas Daus came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Merdingen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Daus couldn't finish the play. Olav Maeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Michalak having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicholas Daus in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Michalak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicholas Daus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dennis Michalak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Dennis Michalak managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Merdingen FC's Olav Maeth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th match minute, Fürth in Wald FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Povel to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match, Nicholas Daus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dennis Michalak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 76 minutes into the match, Fürth in Wald FC's goalkeeper Dennis Michalak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olav Maeth. Nicholas Daus hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoph Habel during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Christoph Bär had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olav Maeth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Michalak having to make a save. Dennis Michalak made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Olav Maeth sent off a good shot on target.
