Raphael Klinkisch's late challenge caught a Idelberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Klinkisch helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Idelberg booed when Osterode Am Fallstein FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Baumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heinrich Moos came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Idelberg's Marc Szolkowy. But to his dismay, Marc Szolkowy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Heinrich Moos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Funk in the 40th minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Teufel in the 52nd minute of play forced Osterode Am Fallstein FSV's goalkeeper Heinrich Moos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Marc Szolkowy took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Heinrich Moos to make any attempt to save it. When Osterode Am Fallstein FSV's Jan Teufel in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Idelberg defense, Raphael Klinkisch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Haemer. The Idelberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Haemer should have stopped the shot. Raphael Klinkisch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Haemer having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, Hannes Beiche dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Heinrich Moos, 1-5. Heinrich Moos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Funk, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Raphael Klinkisch came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Osterode Am Fallstein FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Klinkisch couldn't finish the play. Heinrich Moos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Teufel in the 93rd minute. Idelberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
