Helge Ansmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Iker Gädechens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Kleingladbach's Helge Ansmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Gädechens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Kleingladbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Menzner to maneuver through the defense. Kleingladbach's Lukasz Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Happach in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Yorick Stumpf notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kleingladbach's Lukasz Nowak. Lukasz Nowak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hermann Happach struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lukasz Nowak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manheim FSV. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helge Ansmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Manheim FSV's Piet Kleist got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Kleingladbach's Lukasz Nowak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Kleingladbach from getting a goal against them. Lukasz Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörg Bäßler in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopold Menzner during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kleingladbach getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Leopold Menzner hit a great ball. Piet Kleist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lukasz Nowak having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Kleingladbach's Leopold Menzner got a free kick in the 86th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Manheim FSV's Heinz Schauberger tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Hermann Happach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lukasz Nowak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
