After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Maurice Damm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polishmijaja's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurice Damm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Mach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernt Schultz charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Schultz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, FC Bayern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Schultz to maneuver through the defense. Maurice Damm took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Mach. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Goetsch got free with Hugo Mach in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If David Stiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Polishmijaja's goalkeeper Helmut Wilde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Maik Grassow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Wilde having to interfere. 57 minutes in the game, Maik Grassow fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Helmut Wilde having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play, Polishmijaja's Maurice Damm made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Mach was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Bayern's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
