Helmut Wilde came out of the goal and Mathias Gielchen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Goetsch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marco Riepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maurice Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polishmijaja's Guido Goetsch got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Goetsch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Riepe having to make a save. If Maurice Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Guido Goetsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polishmijaja's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Goetsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Riepe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Polishmijaja got a freekick which was hit by Richard Stickelberger. Marco Riepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Damm, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Guido Goetsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Polishmijaja were the better team. Polishmijaja's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
