Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1570, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Povel got the match started through his kick off. Dennis Michalak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Menzner in the 8th minute of play. Fürth in Wald FC's Dennis Michalak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Menzner in the 9th minute of play. Gustav Eller made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Steven Oestmann sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Povel in the 15th minute of play forced FC Bremerhaven's goalkeeper Gustav Eller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Victor Meissner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustav Eller saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Fürth in Wald FC's Gustav Eller threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Povel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gustav Eller was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stephan Sonneborn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 26th minute, Christian Povel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustav Eller. The goal made the score 2-0. If Conny Menzner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Blindow lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Konstantin Schrader managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bremerhaven's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantin Schrader was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Michalak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Bremerhaven's Conny Menzner got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerd Rust took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Michalak. Dennis Michalak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantin Schrader to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gerd Rust managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bremerhaven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerd Rust was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Konstantin Schrader's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Michalak was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. A collision led to FC Bremerhaven getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Konstantin Schrader hit a great ball. Gustav Eller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Oestmann in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Victor Meissner notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FC Bremerhaven's Gustav Eller. Gustav Eller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Povel in the 66th minute of play forced FC Bremerhaven's goalkeeper Gustav Eller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerd Rust recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gerd Rust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantin Schrader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Michalak having to interfere. The supporters of FC Bremerhaven booed when Fürth in Wald FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Oestmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes FC Bremerhaven got a freekick which was hit by Tankred Hopmeier. Dennis Michalak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Schrader, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Konstantin Schrader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Michalak having to interfere. When FC Bremerhaven's Gerd Rust in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fürth in Wald FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gustav Eller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Meissner in the 91st minute of play. FC Bremerhaven's Gustav Eller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Povel in the 93rd minute of play. When Tankred Hopmeier fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bremerhaven's protests and gave Tankred Hopmeier a yellow card for diving instead. Gustav Eller came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Fürth in Wald FC's Stephan Sonneborn. But to his dismay, Stephan Sonneborn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Fürth in Wald FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Bremerhaven for a fine match.
