Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Seghorn FSV's Boris Theiss started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Josef Glöden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Theiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 3 minutes into the match, Boris Theiss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josef Glöden. Rackenbach FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Theiss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Rackenbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Theiss came free, but Josef Glöden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Seghorn FSV got a freekick which was hit by Curt Bormann. 20 minutes in the game Kim Beutel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Thomas Trautmann. Thomas Trautmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Bohn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Cosmo Nelius hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sébastien Abend struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Simon Bohn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rackenbach FSV. 35 minutes into the match, Walther Schönberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josef Glöden. Rackenbach FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walther Schönberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 44 played minutes Rackenbach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Özcan Garske. After the first half Seghorn FSV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Trautmann made a kick off. Boris Theiss kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Rackenbach FSV's keeper Josef Glöden was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Josef Glöden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Theiss in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Seghorn FSV's Matt Termath got a free kick in the 64th minute. Boris Theiss in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Josef Glöden, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Walther Schönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Glöden having to interfere. 70 minutes in the game Amadeo Burdach did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Armin Blenkle. Thanks to some nice moves Boris Theiss could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Josef Glöden however easily saved by the left post. In the 74th minute, Feddo Rahaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Theiss came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Josef Glöden could save by the left post. The supporters of Rackenbach FSV booed when Seghorn FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curt Bormann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olaf Bialke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Theiss let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 82nd minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. The supporters of Rackenbach FSV booed when Seghorn FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walther Schönberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Boris Theiss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Glöden was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Rackenbach FSV's zone, Walther Schönberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Glöden came out of the goal and Walther Schönberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
