After 14 played minutes Benedikt Henrich rounded FC Schalke04's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Lütke in the 19th minute of play forced Trichser FC's goalkeeper Gunnar Reisinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Ingbert Brechtheimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trichser FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Benedikt Henrich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trichser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedikt Henrich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trichser FC's Gunnar Reisinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andras Gerlach in the 28th minute of play. Gunnar Reisinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Lütke's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Julien Miller made a precise shot to the right of Gunnar Reisinger. Trichser FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Odo Noll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trichser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odo Noll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Schalke04 were furious when Delf Winnerl was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 41 minutes into the game, one of FC Schalke04:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 4-1 after a penalty in the 44th minute, where Trichser FC:s Ditmar Hadewicz tricked FC Schalke04:s Niklas Gutsche with a difficult ball by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Lütke made a kick off. FC Schalke04's Niklas Gutsche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedikt Henrich in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Odo Noll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trichser FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Odo Noll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklas Gutsche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnar Reisinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andras Gerlach in the 64th minute. Benedikt Henrich took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niklas Gutsche. Niklas Gutsche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Benedikt Henrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Gutsche having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Trichser FC's goalkeeper Gunnar Reisinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Lütke. Niklas Gutsche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingbert Brechtheimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Kunkel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Schalke04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trichser FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of FC Schalke04:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trichser FC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Benedikt Henrich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trichser FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedikt Henrich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklas Gutsche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Trichser FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
