Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robby Trunschke took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rene Böttcher struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Kay Bentz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ochtersum. When Damir Wicklein fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ochtersum's protests and gave Damir Wicklein a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ochtersum getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Damir Wicklein hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match, Robby Trunschke got a very nice opportunity to score, but Remo Marks was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Birke got free with Remo Marks in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alban Schweizer in the 13th minute of play forced Odelzhausen's goalkeeper Kay Bentz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Ochtersum's goalkeeper Remo Marks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robby Trunschke. In the 18th minute Pal Breiffel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Marks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Odelzhausen fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Odelzhausen's Robby Trunschke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pal Breiffel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Marks having to interfere. Remo Marks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pal Breiffel in the 26th minute of the match. If Alban Schweizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ochtersum's Eduard Stein in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Kay Bentz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Kay Bentz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alban Schweizer in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Eduard Stein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ochtersum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Stein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alban Schweizer struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Kay Bentz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ochtersum. Alban Schweizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kay Bentz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Böttcher hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alban Schweizer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Odelzhausen's goalkeeper Kay Bentz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pal Breiffel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Marks saved Ochtersum from getting behind. Remo Marks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robby Trunschke's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When Alban Schweizer fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ochtersum's protests and gave Alban Schweizer a yellow card for diving instead. Kay Bentz made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Eduard Stein sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Ochtersum defense, Pal Breiffel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remo Marks. The Ochtersum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo Marks should have stopped the shot. Alban Schweizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Bentz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robby Trunschke in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remo Marks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ochtersum getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mehmet Ali Hasebrink hit a great ball. Robby Trunschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Marks having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Odelzhausen had played much better football throughout.
