Moritz Häming charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Petershütte's Johannes Meiniger got control of the ball when Axel Leopold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Figen Riedel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johannes Meiniger. Petershütte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johannes Meiniger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Abel in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Axel Leopold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nico Stockert was slow to take the kick. During this time Petershütte's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Nico Stockert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sylvain Kösters quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sylvain Kösters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Klock, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's goalkeeper Sylvain Kösters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Dittrich hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Axel Leopold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Johannes Meiniger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Meiniger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Leopold in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute, Moritz Häming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montgomery Yost took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylvain Kösters. Sylvain Kösters dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Montgomery Yost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Karl Klock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvain Kösters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sylvain Kösters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Klock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Petershütte's Karl Klock in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Kosmonauten Prenzelberg defense, Karl Klock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylvain Kösters. The Kosmonauten Prenzelberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylvain Kösters should have stopped the shot. If Montgomery Yost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kosmonauten Prenzelberg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Petershütte were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Karl Klock made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Montgomery Yost fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Petershütte getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Moritz Häming hit a great ball. Axel Leopold might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Meiniger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Leopold ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Abel made a precise shot to the right of Johannes Meiniger. Petershütte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Sylvain Kösters made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Montgomery Yost sent off a good shot on target. Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's Sylvain Kösters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Kosmonauten Prenzelberg from getting a goal against them. Bernhard Hartenstein was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bernhard Hartenstein hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sylvain Kösters made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Montgomery Yost sent off a good shot on target. Kosmonauten Prenzelberg's Sylvain Kösters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Kosmonauten Prenzelberg from getting a goal against them. Sylvain Kösters made an important save on a dangerous shot by Montgomery Yost in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd minute, Petershütte's Montgomery Yost dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Sylvain Kösters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Petershütte's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
