Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robby Trunschke made the kick off which started today's match. Robby Trunschke scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Madl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pal Breiffel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in VfV Hildesheim's zone, Robby Trunschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Madl came out of the goal and Robby Trunschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Odelzhausen's Lars Birke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Madl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 18 minutes, Günther Schmitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odelzhausen and the VfV Hildesheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Günther Schmitt kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Donny Lienemann came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the VfV Hildesheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donny Lienemann couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Odelzhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Gunter Rössel came free, but Kay Bentz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Odelzhausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Hufenstuhl to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Winfried Drewes in the 27th minute really tested Kay Bentz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 44th match minute, VfV Hildesheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibrahim Richter to maneuver through the defense. Tassilo Betzer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunter Rössel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexander Madl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pal Breiffel in the 51st minute of the match. Robby Trunschke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Alexander Madl made a huge save. Kay Bentz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donny Lienemann's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Pal Breiffel took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Alexander Madl to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of VfV Hildesheim booed when Odelzhausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günther Schmitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunter Rössel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Bentz having to interfere. Alexander Madl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pal Breiffel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Robby Trunschke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Odelzhausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby Trunschke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Madl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82nd play minutes Pal Breiffel shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Alexander Madl and just under the crossbar into goal. Pal Breiffel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alexander Madl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pal Breiffel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VfV Hildesheim! When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Odelzhausen's Pal Breiffel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexander Madl.
