Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Björn Schaede in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Süßmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Axel Schuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Süßmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Schaede in the 14th minute of play. If Robin Mussauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Schaede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Süßmann having to interfere. When Robin Mussauer came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Eutscheid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Mussauer couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Eutscheid booed when CF Nürnberg Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Frieters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Mussauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hans Süßmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Björn Schaede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Süßmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Mussauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Süßmann having to interfere. When Björn Schaede came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Eutscheid fans jumped to their feet. The crowd rose to their feet as Björn Schaede kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hans Süßmann. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play.
