Egon Deffke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Hausten FSV's Christian Franke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remo Marks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Hausten FSV got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Feyen. In the 26th minute, Christian Franke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hausten FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alban Schweizer got free with Egon Deffke in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Hausten FSV's goalkeeper Egon Deffke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduard Stein. Egon Deffke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alban Schweizer in the 46th minute of the match. Eduard Stein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Egon Deffke made a huge save.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Stein in the 54th minute of play forced Hausten FSV's goalkeeper Egon Deffke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Frankes short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Remo Marks to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 60 minutes into the game, Rene Böttcher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alban Schweizer might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egon Deffke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alban Schweizer ran back to his position shaking his head. Remo Marks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolas Gall in the 88th minute of play. Hausten FSV's Egon Deffke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Stein in the 91st minute of play.
