After having played for 5 minutes, Roman Stoffmehl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Texasweiler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Stoffmehl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Stoffmehl might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Neidlein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Stoffmehl ran back to his position shaking his head. When Björn Zöllmer came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Heilbronn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Zöllmer couldn't finish the play. Roman Stoffmehl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Robert Neidlein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Stoffmehl struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Robert Neidlein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Texasweiler. Farin Ankleider scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Neidlein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SV Texasweiler booed when Heilbronn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thilo Emden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes SV Texasweiler got a freekick which was hit by Farin Ankleider. Björn Zöllmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Anthony Hierlinger made a huge save. Benni Anton hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Anthony Hierlinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walt Peleikis in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Torsten Breil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Heilbronn's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Stoffmehl came free, but Robert Neidlein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roman Stoffmehl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Zöllmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Hierlinger having to interfere. After the first half SV Texasweiler were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roman Stoffmehl made the kick off in the second half. If Walt Peleikis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thilo Emden kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Rayk Tadic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farin Ankleider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Robert Neidlein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Zöllmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Hierlinger having to interfere. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Farin Ankleider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Roman Stoffmehl managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Texasweiler's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Stoffmehl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Neidlein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Neidlein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Stoffmehl, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. SV Texasweiler's Alexander Blind quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ralph Metzger, made in the 79th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Roman Stoffmehl managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Texasweiler's Anthony Hierlinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walt Peleikis in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Björn Zöllmer made a precise shot to the right of Anthony Hierlinger. SV Texasweiler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thilo Emden kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
