Ron Kolbe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudius Ehrl in the 9th minute. Ron Kolbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppo Duchow in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Beppo Duchow took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ron Kolbe to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in SG Dy Dresden's zone, Claudius Ehrl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ron Kolbe came out of the goal and Claudius Ehrl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ron Kolbe came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Schachmatt Kickers's Claudius Ehrl. But to his dismay, Claudius Ehrl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Schachmatt Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Hasso Blunk came free, but Claas Pesch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tobias Reiß fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schachmatt Kickers's protests and gave Tobias Reiß a yellow card for diving instead. Leander Vogl succeeded in the game's 30th minute to get real power on a long shot . Schachmatt Kickers's Claas Pesch hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! With his leg Ron Kolbe managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Schachmatt Kickers's Claudius Ehrl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 37 minutes into the game, Joscha Melber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SG Dy Dresden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schachmatt Kickers the free kick. Joscha Melber hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Beppo Duchow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ron Kolbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hasso Blunk to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Beppo Duchow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ron Kolbe was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Schachmatt Kickers's Balduin Weth got a free kick in the 56th minute. Helmut Frank charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helmut Frank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 62 minutes into the game, one of Schachmatt Kickers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Claas Pesch went to the wrong direction when Leander Vogl was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Schachmatt Kickers's Balduin Weth got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hasso Blunk managed to get in a good position for a shot. SG Dy Dresden's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasso Blunk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claas Pesch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Hasso Blunk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claas Pesch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudius Ehrl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppo Duchow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ron Kolbe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. If Hasso Blunk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Schachmatt Kickers's Beppo Duchow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ron Kolbe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 90th minute Hasso Blunk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claas Pesch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claas Pesch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasso Blunk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Ganz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Schachmatt Kickers had won after a very even match.
