Remo Burgwart's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Mathias Michael Albrecht skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Per Stiig Ranke put in a rough tackle. After 18 minutes o3S's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Otto Bloch who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Torben Rose almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but o3S's Niko Zampos did a great save. In the 23rd minute, Lothar Rosenbaum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niko Zampos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Habaletta Fire's Mathias Michael Albrecht got control of the ball when Remo Burgwart tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Remo Burgwart put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mathias Michael Albrecht. 33 minutes into the match, o3S's goal looked a bit too open when Urs Groth came free, but Niko Zampos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolai Janz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Michael Albrecht having to interfere. The supporters of o3S booed when Habaletta Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Brünen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graciano Blenkle struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mathias Michael Albrecht didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for o3S. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urs Groth to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, o3S's goal looked a bit too open when Urs Groth came free, but Niko Zampos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The o3S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Marvin Brünen hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Graciano Blenkle in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Michael Albrecht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of o3S booed when Habaletta Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Rosenbaum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Vollath scored 3-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathias Michael Albrecht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Henrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Michael Albrecht having to interfere. Remo Burgwart hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Mathias Michael Albrecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Burgwart in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolai Janz in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathias Michael Albrecht saved Habaletta Fire from getting behind. If Remo Burgwart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Habaletta Fire getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lothar Rosenbaum hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Habaletta Fire's zone, Remo Burgwart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Michael Albrecht came out of the goal and Remo Burgwart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. o3S fully deserved thier win.
