Lykershausen FC's Wolfram Fellbaum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dietmar Schetelig in the 5th minute of play. With 10 minutes on the clock, Per Stiig Ranke commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. o3S:s Niko Zampos showed great skill when he stopped Gerhart Kolter:s penalty. Niko Zampos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhold Vöhringer in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of o3S booed when Lykershausen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Scheuerer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolai Janz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicolai Janz came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wolfram Fellbaum could save by the left post. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lykershausen FC's goalkeeper Wolfram Fellbaum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Markus Schachten charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markus Schachten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the o3S defense, Reinhold Vöhringer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niko Zampos. The o3S fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niko Zampos should have stopped the shot. Niko Zampos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Scheuerer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolfram Fellbaum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eberhard Kaindl in the 30th minute. Wolfram Fellbaum was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Nicolai Janz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolai Janz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 55 minutes into the game, Lykershausen FC's Reinhold Vöhringer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niko Zampos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ismael Scheuerer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Lykershausen FC's Niko Zampos threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reinhold Vöhringer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nicolai Janz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wolfram Fellbaum having to make a save. Wolfram Fellbaum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remo Burgwart's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Nicolai Janz managed to get in a good position for a shot. o3S's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolai Janz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wolfram Fellbaum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Lykershausen FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinhold Vöhringer. Niko Zampos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Scheuerer in the 75th minute of play. If Nicolai Janz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wolfram Fellbaum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolai Janz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niko Zampos was a little too slow when Markus Schachten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. o3S's Niko Zampos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhold Vöhringer in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, o3S's goalkeeper Niko Zampos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arminius Klimke. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Scheuerer got free with Niko Zampos in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nicolai Janz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arminius Klimke's late challenge caught a o3S's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arminius Klimke helped the player get up and apologised.
