Spectators: 5386 (Terracing: 4210, Seating: 1165, VIP seats: 11) FC Tayphoon Köln's Friedo Erl started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingmar Brüning during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ingmar Brüning kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. FCC Wallendorf's Ludwig Brauksiepe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Tayphoon Köln. The FCC Wallendorf fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when FCC Wallendorf's Wilhelm Wessendorf looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Helmuth Drechsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lars Scheck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th play minute Helmuth Drechsel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lars Scheck. 2-0. Lars Scheck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Helmuth Drechsel in the 17th minute. Lars Scheck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Wessendorf in the 19th minute of the match. Helmuth Drechsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrico Wexler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Zwerger, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Helmuth Drechsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, FC Tayphoon Köln's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Wessendorf came free, but Lars Scheck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Stefan Zwerger managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tayphoon Köln's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Zwerger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrico Wexler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helmuth Drechsel got free with Lars Scheck in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Helmuth Drechsel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Wessendorf to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Helmuth Drechsel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Tayphoon Köln's Lars Scheck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Stefan Zwerger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FCC Wallendorf getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ludwig Brauksiepe hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Friedo Erl in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrico Wexler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lars Scheck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmuth Drechsel in the 59th minute of play. Wilhelm Wessendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Scheck having to interfere. If Stefan Zwerger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, FC Tayphoon Köln's goal looked a bit too open when Helmuth Drechsel came free, but Lars Scheck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Wilhelm Wessendorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Scheck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes FC Tayphoon Köln got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Brüning. FCC Wallendorf's Helmuth Drechsel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Helmuth Drechsel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Scheck was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Hermann Pahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes, FCC Wallendorf's Aage Herrndorf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Scheck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FCC Wallendorf reached it. Wilhelm Wessendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Scheck having to interfere. There was no doubt that FCC Wallendorf were the better team. FCC Wallendorf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
