Dennis-Maurice Suchowitzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Henrico Wexler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Pfaffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrico Wexler having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Scharfoldendorf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Helmuth Drechsel came free, but Joel-Benjamin Netthöfel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helge Wassermann charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Wassermann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FCC Wallendorf booed when Scharfoldendorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Wassermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilhelm Wessendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel-Benjamin Netthöfel having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Helmuth Drechsel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st match minute, Scharfoldendorf FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Schnell to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Pfaffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FCC Wallendorf's Henrico Wexler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Pfaffmann in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Pfaffmann in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrico Wexler saved FCC Wallendorf from getting behind. Scharfoldendorf FC's Dennis-Maurice Suchowitzki got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helge Wassermann hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Helmuth Drechsel took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel-Benjamin Netthöfel. Joel-Benjamin Netthöfel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 90th minute, Wilhelm Wessendorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard and well directed shot from Ludwig Brauksiepe led 92 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Scharfoldendorf FC's Joel-Benjamin Netthöfel became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2.
