Spectators: 5003 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 1) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zlatan Knebel during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of o3S booed when FC Tayphoon Köln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatan Knebel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes FC Tayphoon Köln got a freekick which was hit by Zlatan Knebel. Nicolai Janz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Scheck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eberhard Kaindl in the 21st minute. After 21 played minutes FC Tayphoon Köln got a freekick which was hit by Zlatan Knebel. Nicolai Janzs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Lars Scheck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Zlatan Knebel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. In the 26th match minute, FC Tayphoon Köln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatan Knebel to maneuver through the defense. Eberhard Kaindl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo Burgwart charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remo Burgwart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lars Scheck made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nicolai Janz sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of o3S booed when FC Tayphoon Köln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedo Erl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dietmar Schetelig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Scheck having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Tayphoon Köln's Lars Scheck got control of the ball when Nicolai Janz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Remo Burgwart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lars Scheck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dietmar Schetelig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolai Janz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lars Scheck firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dietmar Schetelig was the one to do the kick off. Dietmar Schetelig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute of the match FC Tayphoon Köln got a corner. o3S's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jesse Pautsch ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pete Jager almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but o3S's Niko Zampos did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dietmar Schetelig managed to get in a good position for a shot. o3S's supporters rose to their feet, but Dietmar Schetelig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Scheck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the FC Tayphoon Köln defense, Remo Burgwart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Scheck. The FC Tayphoon Köln fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Scheck should have stopped the shot. Lars Scheck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Burgwart in the 66th minute of the match. Lars Scheck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eberhard Kaindl in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Remo Burgwart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lars Scheck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niko Zampos made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Stefan Zwerger sent off a good shot on target. Lars Scheck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eberhard Kaindl in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Dietmar Schetelig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Scheck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicolai Janz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Scheck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dietmar Schetelig in the 78th minute of play. Lars Scheck came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by o3S's Remo Burgwart. But to his dismay, Remo Burgwart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Nicolai Janz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Scheck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Remo Burgwart struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lars Scheck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for o3S. When Dietmar Schetelig, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 97 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lars Scheck was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. There was no doubt that o3S were the better team. o3S's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
