Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paolo Küffner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, FC Wiesenstetten's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Bartel came free, but Paolo Küffner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gerd Tilmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Eggerking was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Christoph Rechmüller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Küffner was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Karl Wehners. Paolo Küffner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denny Bartel in the 15th minute. If Gerd Tilmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Denny Bartel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Küffner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of FC Wiesenstetten booed when Beetenbrück was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Heinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Wiesenstetten's Dirk Banse got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Denny Bartel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Küffner having to interfere. Paolo Küffner was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Denny Bartel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Denny Bartel really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Rainer Teuchner hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Beetenbrück defense, Gerd Tilmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Eggerking. The Beetenbrück fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Eggerking should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerd Tilmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sören Vogeler hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denny Bartel in the 55th minute of play forced FC Wiesenstetten's goalkeeper Paolo Küffner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Utz Georgion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wiesenstetten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Utz Georgion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Beetenbrück getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gil Heinen hit a great ball. Hans Eggerking made an important save on a dangerous shot by Utz Georgion in the 74th minute. Paolo Küffner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Hegemann in the 76th minute of the match. Ronald Genthe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Küffner having to interfere. Paolo Küffner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denny Bartel's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denny Bartel in the 87th minute of play forced FC Wiesenstetten's goalkeeper Paolo Küffner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC Wiesenstetten defense, Ronald Genthe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Küffner. The FC Wiesenstetten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Küffner should have stopped the shot. Beetenbrück walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
