Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ulf Werlich made the kick off which started today's match. Mark Appenrodt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Renz having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game Arthur Bock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spall FSV's Rutger Renz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Arthur Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Spall FSV getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Peter-Stefan Grefen hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Maiko Gruber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tyler Henning was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arthur Bock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Spall FSV got a freekick which was hit by Maiko Gruber. Ulf Werlich kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Conni Filippek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rutger Renz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arthur Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conni Filippek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conni Filippek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulf Werlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tyler Henning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Maiko Gruber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spall FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maiko Gruber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyler Henning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Werlich in the 63rd minute of the match. Maiko Gruber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tyler Henning didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 72nd match minute, Bvb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainer Rathmer to maneuver through the defense. Peter-Stefan Grefen shot from long distance in the 73rd minute, but Tyler Henning was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Maiko Gruber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Tyler Henning made a huge save. The supporters of Spall FSV booed when Bvb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Rittel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyler Henning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maiko Gruber in the 80th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Spall FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Conni Filippek came free, but Rutger Renz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bvb's Mark Appenrodt got a free kick in the 95th minute. Spall FSV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
