Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Kai Blomke got free with Austin Brüggmann in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Görtzen in the 4th minute of play forced Gonso's goalkeeper Malte Aumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malte Aumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kassian Knapp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Aumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Görtzen in the 10th minute of the match. When Gonso's Peter Schön in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marpingen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Schön fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Brüggmann having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Marpingen FC's Andre Görtzen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malte Aumann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andre Görtzen struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Malte Aumann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marpingen FC. Austin Brüggmann didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gonso's Peter Schön shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 41 played minutes Gonso got a freekick which was hit by Ingo van Stiphout. Austin Brüggmann came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonso's Kai Blomke. But to his dismay, Kai Blomke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andre Görtzen to make the kick off. When Andre Görtzen came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Marpingen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Görtzen couldn't finish the play. Peter Schön fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Brüggmann having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Schön in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Austin Brüggmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th match minute, Marpingen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter-Stefan Seelenbinder to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Austin Brüggmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Marpingen FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Torben Metz hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gonso fully deserved thier win.
