Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Emil Heinsch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Austin Brüggmann was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When David Thiel fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Kassian Knapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Adam Schnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marpingen FC's zone, Leopold Ferl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Austin Brüggmann came out of the goal and Leopold Ferl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludo Thülig charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludo Thülig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ludo Thülig hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Deathcore Alliance defense, Andre Görtzen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Schnell. The Deathcore Alliance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Schnell should have stopped the shot. Adam Schnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Görtzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopold Ferl in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Austin Brüggmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raphael Fickert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adam Schnell firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 35th match minute, Marpingen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Götz Parpart to maneuver through the defense. Austin Brüggmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Ferl in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Kassian Knapp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Schnell. Deathcore Alliance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kassian Knapp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andre Görtzen to make the kick off. Austin Brüggmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Heinsch in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Torben Metz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marpingen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deathcore Alliance the free kick. Torben Metz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Leopold Ferl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Brüggmann having to interfere. Adam Schnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kassian Knapp in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Deathcore Alliance getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alexander Brütting hit a great ball. Siegfried Meist went to the cornerflag to take it. Deathcore Alliance's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
