Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Marc Frach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabor Blohberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Haberthal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Marc Frach hit a great ball. Gabor Blohberger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerhard Menz in the 12th minute. The supporters of Haberthal booed when Arminia Bielefeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jürgen Gömleksiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arminia Bielefeld's zone, Gerhard Menz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabor Blohberger came out of the goal and Gerhard Menz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerhard Menz came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabor Blohberger could save by the left post. Arminia Bielefeld's Jürgen Gömleksiz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Milenko Rückert in the 24 minute of the game. Fortunato Niggemann struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jakov Heim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arminia Bielefeld. When Fortunato Niggemann came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Arminia Bielefeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortunato Niggemann couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes, Jan Eckart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arminia Bielefeld and the Haberthal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Arminia Bielefeld got a freekick which was hit by Jan Eckart. In the 29th minute, Haberthal's Marc Frach ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabor Blohberger. Gabor Blohberger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Marc Frach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabor Blohberger came out and tried to block the shot, but Marc Frach slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. When Arminia Bielefeld's Fortunato Niggemann in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haberthal's goalie prevented a goal. Fortunato Niggemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Frach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabor Blohberger having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Reder got free with Gabor Blohberger in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Frach to make the kick off. A collision led to Haberthal getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jens Reder hit a great ball. Jakov Heim made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Fortunato Niggemann sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Arminia Bielefeld's Jack-Peter Zahl got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Haberthal's Tjark Albrecht made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabor Blohberger was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Marc Frach made a precise shot to the right of Gabor Blohberger. Arminia Bielefeld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With a little luck, Haberthal's Jakov Heim got control of the ball when Fortunato Niggemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Marc Frach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haberthal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arminia Bielefeld's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Milenko Rückert was slow to take the kick. During this time Haberthal's players had a chance to rest. Haberthal's Milenko Rückert was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabor Blohberger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
