The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Nino Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philippe Höfken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Schwarzer struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Philippe Höfken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vuisham. Meral Eichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Kühnle in the 13th minute. After 16 played minutes Fc Sari got a freekick which was hit by Pal Oehrlein. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pal Oehrlein during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Pal Oehrlein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmuth Bahr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Philippe Höfken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Sari's Philippe Höfken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten Bordin in the 28th minute of play. Albert Schwarzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Höfken having to interfere. Albert Schwarzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helmuth Bahr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vuisham's Steffen Moeskes in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Sari's goalie prevented a goal. Philippe Höfken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nino Doty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Fc Sari's goal looked a bit too open when Nino Doty came free, but Philippe Höfken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Doty in the 44th minute of play forced Fc Sari's goalkeeper Philippe Höfken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Sari's Philippe Höfken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Doty in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Philippe Höfken was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Nino Doty capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nino Doty really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 58th match minute, Vuisham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Bordin to maneuver through the defense. Albert Schwarzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Höfken having to interfere. Albert Schwarzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Philippe Höfken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helmuth Bahr might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philippe Höfken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helmuth Bahr ran back to his position shaking his head. Philippe Höfken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Schwarzer in the 66th minute. Nino Doty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Höfken having to interfere. Philippe Höfken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nino Doty in the 73rd minute of play. Carsten Bordin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 74th playminute. Vuisham's Nino Doty got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Vuisham's Albert Schwarzer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Nino Doty came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Vuisham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nino Doty couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Fc Sari's Philippe Höfken got control of the ball when Albert Schwarzer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Philippe Höfken was a little too slow when Gino Biermann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-5. Nino Doty scored 0-6 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philippe Höfken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nino Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
